Born and raised in California to parents of Indian descent, travel became a part of me as early as within my first year here on Earth. My first out of state trip was to the East coast - Washington DC, NY, and Niagara Falls in Canada. My 2nd trip was to India in 1981. I have been to India 8 times now, but have not been north of Bombay. My goal is that my next trip there will include going to the far north to Punjab, Delhi, Agra, and up into the himalayas. Maybe I'll even be able to go on a snowboarding trip at the ski resorts there. I have traveled through Europe, stopped in different parts of Asia on my way to India as well as travelled to various places throughout the US and Canada. I have not been to Africa, Australia, or South of the border yet, and hopefully I'll be able to go there as well during this lifetime. My family comes from Kerala, India which was voted in the year 2000 to be the most tropical place in the world by National Geographic Traveler Magazine on their list of 50 Greatest Places of a Lifetime.<<
